Classes and coaching in Seville 9

Teaching in Seville is spread between a school, the clubs and the youth circuits. The Escuela Sevillana de Ajedrez, based in Mairena del Aljarafe, runs chess as an activity in schools across the city and the Aljarafe and organises the night tournament in the Parque del Alamillo. Real Betis Balompié has a page for a chess school of its own, though it gives no address, timetable or price.

Several clubs teach as well: the Peña Ajedrecística Oromana in Alcalá de Guadaíra keeps a class page that announces the 2026/27 timetable as coming soon, the clubs of Brenes and Gines organise school tournaments, and the Casa del Ajedrez de Dos Hermanas is a municipal chess house. ASODEA includes classes for social groups among its aims. For children, the provincial circuit of the Diputación and the Gines youth tournaments give a first taste of competition.
