Rated tournaments near Seville 7

A tournament sits here when its listing shows it as a rated event. The largest is the Abierto Internacional Ciudad de Sevilla, organised in January by the Delegación Sevillana and the Federación Andaluza at FIBES. The team championship of Sevilla is the other city event of this kind, a league in divisions from Preferente down to Tercera, in which many of the clubs on this site field teams.

In the towns the rated opens are those of Brenes in August, Pilas in March, Los Palacios y Villafranca in October and the summer night tournament of Abgena Gines. The provincial circuit of the Diputación also appears among the rated events. For a club player new to Seville these dates are a quick way to meet the local scene across the board.
